Adirondack Regional Technology Center
The Adirondack Regional Technology Center operates a Technology-Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities (TRAID) Program with grant provided by New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs in collaboration with the New York State Department of Health’s (DOH) Early Intervention Program (EIP), and the NYS DOH Money Follows the Person (MFP) Program. The ARTC is one of twelve Regional TRAID Centers (RTC’s) operating within the State of New York. The goal of the program is to improve access to, and acquisition of, assistive technology devices and services for persons with disabilities of all ages and all disabilities within Clinton, Essex, Franklin, and St. Lawrence Counties. Our services seek to enable persons with physical and/or cognitive disabilities to choose, acquire, and use appropriate assistive technology that advances their individual interests and independent functioning.
Adult Career and Continuing Education Services (ACCES-VR)
ACCES-VR is part of the NY State Department of Education. We provide individualized vocational and educational assistance for youth and adults who have disabilities which present barriers to employment. ACCES-VR services are available throughout New York State at no cost to the participant.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive, accessible health and human services across the counties of Northern New York and to offer services to people of all income levels with a special commitment to low-income, medically underserved individuals, and people with disabilities.

A project of the Clarkson University Occupational Therapy Program, the AT Resource & Education Center serves as a resource for our campus, local, and regional communities. Our goals are to expand awareness and understanding of AT among individuals throughout the North Country, to support clinicians, special educators, families and individuals in the community by offering AT demonstrations and hands-on trials prior to making purchases, to assist individuals with short-term AT needs through the TRAID loan program and to provide our OT students the opportunity to learn about current and emerging technologies to support individuals with disabilities.

The Office for the Aging provides service and advocacy for county residents 60 years and older. A goal of the OFA is to advocate in a way that will encourage a safe environment for people to live in their home for as long as possible. We also strive to become a community that is aging-friendly and our residents can age in place.
University at Buffalo Center for Assistive Technology
The Center for Assistive Technology (CAT) assists a variety of populations with use of assistive technology software and devices to facilitate participation in work, education, and daily living tasks. CAT is the Regional TRAID Center for Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, Niagara, and Orleans counties. CAT also has contacts with the NYS ACCES-VR and NYS Commission for the Blind, and works closely with clients with cognitive, physical, and visual impairments referred through these programs, to complete evaluations, trainings, and on-site services. I'm an author. I've spoken on topics related to my books and given some demos & workshops. I have spoken on issues of employment and disabilities to various groups, including Families with ASD Autism Expo in Cincinnati, Ohio; the Canadian Learning Disabilities Association, the Vermont Parent Information Center, and the Nonverbal Learning Disabilities Association annual conference in San Francisco. In addition to Employment for Individuals with Asperger Syndrome or Non-Verbal Learning Disability: Stories and Strategies, I have co-authored a memoir with my mother (My Nine Lives), write a weekly food column (since 2005), have self-published a cookbook (Garden Gourmet: Fresh & Fabulous Meals from your Garden, CSA or Farmers' Market), and have published 2 poetry chapbooks.

5:00 - 6:00 will be dedicated time for exhibitors and student posters, and exhibitors may opt to remain open during the keynote presentation and performance from 6:00 to 8:00, which will be held in the same vicinity. Each exhibitor will have a 6" table and access to electricity (if requested). Refreshments will be served during the Friday evening event.
Conference registration fee is waived for up to two representatives per exhibitor booth.
