Collaboration with Clarkson Accommodative Services

The Clarkson Occupational Therapy Department has partnered with the University's AccessABILITY Services to purchase and implement campus-wide assistive technology tools to support reading and writing. Co:Writer, a word-prediction program, and Snap-and-Read, a text-to-speech application, are available to any Clarkson student or employee upon request. Both programs have advanced features that support a wide range of learning styles and needs, adding a beneficial tool to CU's Universal Design for Learning toolkit.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
Thank you to Clarkson OT graduate students Chenyang Li and Jared Pignone, who have supported this project implementation
by raising awareness, providing software training, and developing instructional materials and resources!
