In an effort to promote the use of assistive technology and to increase access to information for AT consumers, the 2019 CUOT Assistive Technology Expo is offering supplemental funding to ten individuals to support attendance at this year's conference. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis, and will not be accepted after November 1.
Terms of the supplemental funding are as follows:
If selected, the supplemental funding will cover:
Conference registration, including materials for Saturday's Make & Take session
Up to $200 towards associated costs, which may include:
Recipients of supplemental funding will be required to submit a $50 reservation fee by November 1, which will be applied to future supplemental Adirondack AT Expo funding awards.
Participants may not register for the conference until their supplemental funding application has been reviewed and accepted, and they have been notified by conference coordinator (Lisa Tebo) of funding. Participants who arrive at the conference without prior approval or pre-registration will not be able to attend breakout sessions (November 15) or participate in make & take sessions (November 16). Our Friday evening events (keynote presentation, student posters, and exhibitors) are free, open to the public, and do not require approval or pre-registration.
This funding was made possible by a generous grant from the John B. Snow Foundation.
