The Time Timer is a great visual tool to help manage and track time. This device can be mounted to the wall, or freestanding offering flexibility of use. Just move the red disk counterclockwise to set a time limit.  A sound will signal completion. The simple design promotes time management, and autonomy in tasks. Come check out this device available for demonstration in the AT lab!

​Penguin is an ergonomic and ambidextrous mouse that enables right and left hand users to share workload to avoid repetitive movements of the wrist joint. Carpal tunnel injury can occur due to the pressure on the soft tissues in the carpal tunnel region. Penguin mouse has a precision scroll wheel for fast and accurate scrolling. It also has an easy glide symmetrical base that allows the user to comfortably rest their hand along the vertical structure. This item is available for loan and trial at the AT Resource Center! CanPlan is an app available for iOS products that helps the user plan and sort events using video/picture directions and audio prompts! This app provides visual supports to help complete a task. These tasks can be "scheduled" throughout the day with reminders set at designated times. 
Come check out this app available on all ipads in the AT resource center!
This video was created through the use of screen record, a wonderful accessibility feature of iOS devices!!!!

​PenFriend 2 is a voice recording label system. You can record up to 1 hour onto each Magnetic Badge or Label! Simply place the pen over the label and press the record button. These stickers can be placed on prescription bottles, freezers, food cans, recipes, ingredients, instructions, household items, and so much more. PenFriend2 can be a great addition to your home or classroom setting with individuals who may need some further instruction or description of an item. This item is available in the AT Resource Center for trial and loan. Come to the 3rd floor of Clarkson’s Health Sciences building located at 59 Main St and see for yourself!

Technology use has become an integral part to nearly every day of our lives.  Unfortunately, the typical mice we use with computers puts our wrist in a position to become strained. Repetitively putting our wrists in this position can lead to discomfort, pain, or injury. An ergonomic mouse, such as the AirO2bic, puts the wrist in a neutral position and allows for more natural movements. This universally designed watch contains sensors that monitor brain activity and skin temperature.
